Description
IR Sensor module has great adaptive capability of the ambient light, having a pair of infrared transmitter and the receiver tube. When the transmitted light waves are reflected back, the reflected IR waves will be received by the receiver tube. The onboard comparator circuitry does the processing and the green indicator LED lights up.
This module features a 3 wire interface containing Vcc, GND and an OUTPUT pin.
It has an effective distance range of 2cm to approx. 10cm and works fine with a voltage range of 3.3-5V.
